PREFACE:
FIRST STREAM WAS FUN
(& HOW THIS FORMAT WAS ESTABLISHED)
First stream, babyyy! In my eyes and for ADAPT, it was a success (starting is the first step!). No moderators (starting week 5, only user-submitted journals & questions from the chat). No fancy transitions. No sponsors (yet, unless we align in principle/faith). No profit margin targets. No fluff... Just me, a mic, and a message beyond mechanics and skill mastery.
Whoever it’s for—is who it’s for. My assignment is to spread truth, light, and love through sports teaching, life-skills coaching, and Spirit-led fellowship and Bible study—without motives to deceive or to seek praise from man (The Most High God doesn't care about your denomination or perfect attendance... John 4:22-24). That lens frees us to learn with and from each other. As James warns, “not many should be teachers (James 3:1)”—so we approach this house of hoops with humility, accountability, and courage, knowing there are impostors out here and trends designed to distract. This space is for honest growth: hoop IQ + life wisdom + spiritual maturity.
What follows is a timestamped flow of Shalom Sundays Episode 1, which reads smoothly in real-time for a recap "in the books." I keep the natural cadence you heard live, while building a bridge to the more structured version we’ll use across other themed live streams such as .WAV(e) Wednesdays, HERSday Thursdays, Freestyle Fridays, and Situational Saturdays. Chapter markers, polls, overlays, and mod cues will be introduced—without sacrificing the authentic flow that makes this community unique.
Timestamped Run-of-Show (Real-Time Voice)
0:00 – 5:00
Opening, Identity & the Why
“ADAPT SHALOM, everybody, my name is Coach JuJu… Julian Wright, aka Coach JuJu.” I honor those in the Hebraic heritage space who claim their chosen names; I share mine—Yahulian Ben Sha’ul—and set a simple promise: fresh content uploaded every 2 weeks, not a set of OVERPRICED, COVID-timestamped dusty drill libraries sitting in a vault by these "MASSA/Master skill trainers" who haven't even played or coached at a pro level, who prey on less-knowledeable parents who don't even know "where to start." I say it plainly: “For me, I can’t give y’all rusty dusty content… y'all deserve fresh content as there's different storylines going on in the NBA, WNBA, NCAA…”
I call out the why: we’re going to show what actually happened, why, and what the player was likely thinking, so athletes learn to think like pros, not just mimic highlight reels. “We put you in the shoes and the mind of a pro-athlete…”
I keep it 100 as in being transparent (as is a best practice for podding): “I’m a rookie with streaming… this is what I came up with to start off, pretty easy breezy… I’m just going to work from one window for the first few weeks (as in lower thirds, transitions, flipping through windows for chats, etc.).”
Transition note: Shalom Sundays are designed to run smoothly and freely. Future shows will drop a chapter card and other graphics at each timestamp.
5:00 – 15:00
“Faith Over Phonetics”
+ "Destiny Over Denominations"
+ Romans 1 Framing
Opened with Romans 1 and centered everything in the Gospel around ORDER, being that Israelites would be given the fullness of the gospel spread to the four corners of the earth so that Gentiles may also hear the message of salvation and believe, yet being grafted into the covenants (Jeremiah 31:31-37, Exodus 12:49). Then I put it on the table: faith over phonetics. “Yahushua… Yahshua… Yahawahshi… YAHUWAH… JEHOVAH… YaHWeH… I’m not playing with y’all, not on my platform. Faith over phonetics. We talkin' 'bout our Heavenly Father and His only begotten Son… no proven Babylonian borrowed Trinity belief system... walking in the Word and the Spirit, not just the letter (John 4:22-24).”
I speak to those who are hungry to be nourished, but aren’t finding it in traditional spiritual/religious learning cycles: “If you don’t wanna tune in, I get it… this is for those who are looking to be nourished.” I make sure people are aware of how judgment will work... Making sure people understand that their COGIC, Presbyterian, Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, denomination gives nobody cookie points and that they should meditate on Revelation 21:10-14, having TWELVE GATES & TWELVE ANGELS reppin' the TWELVE TRIBES! Your pastor/elder will NOT tell you the Truth (your denomination/camp association is NOT important)... It's on you to ask the Lord God for Wisdom if you lack it! (Proverbs 3:5-6, James 1:5-8). I also set the tone for how chats and recaps will work going forward (AI summaries, published polls, voice recognition for panel discussions to boost search and accessibility, along with bringing people to the stage at times who have already agreed to our waivers). First-timer honesty. Audio quality might not be perfect on Day 1, but I wanted to do this Blogcast outside. We keep it moving. We make progress, then polish.
15:00 – 25:00
The Academy Hidden In Plain Sight...
I walk through the client/staff portal and the Academy page—how to sign up, log in, set up your profile, complete waivers, purchase a membership, fund your account, and reserve for ADAPT Huddles (live or replay). We keep it transparent and straightforward: “It’s a client-staff portal… you’ll sign up, get in there to agree to waivers… peruse the basics of the profile… learn about the Academy Membership perks. Then ADAPT with us! ADAPT stands for Athletic Development All-Purpose Training… focus on how the body works and moves.”
I credit performance coaches (Tim Grover, Gunnar Peterson, Robbie Davis) and explain why all-purpose training is about being a positionless player—versatile, accountable, ready for the moment.
Content target during Academy enrollment windows (NOW until 11/30/2025 and February 2026): FREEMIUM, short teaching segments (in the first segment and/or pre-stream as a hook) embedded inside an ADAPT Huddles rhythm—live breakdowns of any skills, pre-recorded clips, film study, and “behind the curtain” pro insights that make your reps smarter, not just harder.
25:00 – 30:00
Access Model (Why It Matters)
I explain the open window and member depth model: the first 30 minutes open to all (especially during enrollment), followed by member-only deep dives. “The first 30 will be for anybody eventually… then the last 30–60 minutes for members.” I anchor our cadence: Shalom Sundays, along with all live streams, are aimed for 7:30 pm CST, with flexibility for events, travel, scouting, etc. “I can go 60–90 easily… target 7:30 Central… if I’m traveling, I’ll adjust.”
30:00 – 45:00
Modules For Parents, Athletes, Coaches & Trainers
(Let's Form a PACT!)
I outline the 21+ vertical (ADAPT SportFit Management) for parents, adult athletes starting their pro journey or transitioning into business endeavors and leadership positions, coaches of all levels including parent-coaches, and trainers who work with various skill levels including sport performance coaches—load management, diet/nutrition, contract negotiations, pre-draft advice, practical operations, brand building, NIL, and the ACTUAL “business of basketball” along training techniques to help build drills within team concepts, etc. so families monetize skills ethically and avoid traps. I keep the ethic simple: “People should be paid for what they’re worth… treat people the way they want to be treated. This is the ADAPT way… the Hebraic Messianic way… the Yahshua Way… the YAHUWAH Way.”
Value chain: curriculum + mentorship + management = not just Xs and Os, but where/how/when to maximize with your gifts.
45:00 – 55:00
Music, Brand & NIL—Inspired Tings!
I also present to you all.... juju_vs_midi... My performer name is Ju MIDI, a name I've kept since my youth, when I played music by ear (and still do, although I'm now ready for music lessons!). MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. I share my 30-song, double-album vision (half rap/spoken word & half R&B), along with release dates..! "Dare to Love You" single drops 11/03/2025 & Two Halves 2K26 drops 06/05/2026, Most High God willing! The goal isn't to go platinum (or is it..?!) The MAIN GOAL is to inspire the next generation not to wait until they are in their 30s to let all of their talents shine! Two Halves Tuesdays, for example, carries the weekly message and reminder that it's essential to be MORE THAN AN ATHLETE... Identity matters (be defined by what you are AS YOU DO WHAT YOU DO!) Remember, our forefather David was a shepherd turned harpist, dancer, psalmist, warrior, POLYGAMIST, AND A KING! We are a MULTI-TALENTED PEOPLE! We are the salt of the earth! One day at a time, ridding ourselves of self-hatred...
Music is my first love, actually (I was in choir from age 5 to 13)... So, if people enjoy how I played, it's because I was really dancing out there and using rhythm to time blocks, steals, and other moves, counting their steps... patterns... habits! Music has always been a part of me, a means of connecting with diverse communities, and a way to infuse rhythm into mechanical teaching moments, complemented by dancing/poetry in motion, or the creative arts themselves. Besides having recorded TWO mixtapes with Don Cannon, Kendrick Lamar, and other dope artists (2010-2011), I sang two cover songs at two team galas while I was in the NBA with the New Orleans Hornets, recorded rap songs and did two music videos (covers) for a 2015 Israeli Winner League Singing Competition in the "State" of Israel (I won and got a trophy to show for it lol!), and performed in Taiwan on multiple occasions, demonstrating creativity as a discipline. I've continued to improve my craft over the years as an athlete and simultaneously in the cut as an artist (singer/rapper/poet, songwriter & producer), and I look forward to connecting with other athletes and artists SOON for my first Athlete-Artist Showcase, which I hope to host this fall!
“Not ashamed to throw the Most High and Christ in my music… Although I don't stand for the material I used to rap about in 2010-2011, I’ve got credits with DJ Don Cannon hosting TWO mixtapes, featuring big time artists such as Kendrick Lamar, BJ the Chicago Kid and Shawnna… and unique insights on brand development; Rob Pelinka was my agent in the NBA which helped me see the levels with player development being beyond 'fancy moves.'”
I make the premium/public line clear: most insights remain premium to protect teaching integrity; we still surface select journals and prompts publicly so everyone can grow. “Some things we post online… to be honest, it’s premium… you pay for the curriculum… but I also have special insights; when staff and I are not pulling up to a region near you, we may do a film study session and jump in the chat and talk about it… journals at the end of each week.”
55:00 – 65:00
Romans 11 Reading: Anchor & Aim
We open the text to reset our aim: the Gospel is first directed to the Jews/Israelites, and then to the Greeks/Gentiles. No denomination/skin color/sect-hate, no phonetic wars—receive the Word, walk in the Spirit. “The Old Testament was a schoolmaster (Galatians 3:23-25) so we still need to understand what was written before Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John… once we get to that point, we can move into other things that surround even why The Melanated Messiah came to die for all people… this is for those looking to be nourished.” I also make it clear that I will not censor the word "n*gger/n*gga" as it's a trigger word that we need to address. It just means "black" or "negro" (Zephaniah 1:1 & Acts 13:1; read the Concordance for context) in Spanish so so-called whites feeling that they "need" to say the word... so be it and fulfill prophecy (Deuteronomy 28:37, v. 68, Jeremiah 16:19)... As for my people (Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 26, Ezekiel 37), we have to get to the point where a word doesn't trigger us amidst all of this race war baiting by the elites who won't even be fighting with anybody in the streets.. As I like to say, "call me whatever you want and threaten me if you must, just don't put your hands on me!"
65:00 – 75:00
What Shalom Sundays Will Be
A weekly block of nourishment: skill progressions (at times explained for the upcoming week), journaling, film, and Scripture (always). I explain how AI summaries and published leaderboard signup/participation and poll results (with handles when appropriate) will be embedded in these recaps, so the whole family can track the week’s emphases and prepare for next steps. We keep chats open for some interaction and submission windows for contests (Trial or LITE Members) during enrollment, then gradually tighten permissions to protect quality and care once enrollment periods end. “In the chats… I’ll save chats for 30 minutes… using Discord… giving y’all the basis… then the summary goes to the Blogcast with polls.”
CTA (around 75:00): I invite families to become members (discount code: JUJU30 — 30% discount for first 1,000 uses) and close the segment with a call to shift our focus—onto wisdom, diligence, and unity—so our bodies are disciplined, minds renewed, and spirits anchored in Christ.
75:00 – 90:00
Rest Rhythms/Schedgy & Live-Stream Flow
I confirm that I can comfortably run 60–90 minutes, targeting 7:30 pm CST , and adjusting for travel, tournaments, and scouting. I talk sabbath/rest not as a debatable point as we forfeited our keeping of time thinking there was something better out there than what The Most High established.. faith over works, fam! We now REST in the Messiah's WORKS knowing we'd be slaves and lose out on our heritage (Jeremiah 17:4-5)... Now we make sure to REST and dedicate time to our Heavenly Father on a household basis (Romans 14:5-6) as a rhythm of renewal: step back, breathe, and reset—then step into the week with intention. “Evening time… I know it's football season… not competing with anything... this is for those who want to tap in, 7:30 Central… if I’m traveling, I’ll adjust.”
Announcements & Next Steps
Soft Enrollment (Youth) Spring/Summer Travel
+ Year-Round Build
Co-ed 9U–12U Development and Boys/Girls 13U–16U Chicago Tribes (Remote Team) are entering soft enrollment now; as a remote team with in-person practices, we’ll meet in cities throughout the year for intrasquad scrimmages and showcases as well as meeting in the city we play in for a mini camp, only play 2 weekends monthly for work-life balance, play up 1–3 years where wise and safe [for serious inquiries, text/call me (leave a voicemail) at 708-898-8219, email me at info@adaptbasketball.com or DM me at @juju_vs_midi or @adapt_sportfit on all major social media platforms].
Two on-ramps:
Full Academy Path — Spring Pre-Season AM skill/practice days + film + journaling + strength + competition (starts December 2025, based in the South Suburbs of Chicago).
Tournament-Only Path — for school-team athletes who still want to play in spring/summer elite competition.
Prep League & Semi-Pro (Full Year): we’re building toward a full-year structure with academic support (homeschool pathways + teachers/tutors), sport performance, and NIL mentorship built in.
Regional scaffolding: Chicago hub with a Dallas and Toronto pull for mini-camps, shootarounds, and progressive scouting reports that get more advanced each tournament throughout the season; live-scouting/streamed games feed back into our breakdowns.
Curriculum & Homework: Why Structure Wins
We follow a clear curriculum with fresh weekly breakdowns of pro/college clips, translating into teachable footwork, reads, and counters. Every athlete keeps a journal (mindset + habits) and submits drill homework with honest difficulty ratings so we can prescribe progressions or regressions per skill bracket—because discipline and feedback loops are how greatness grows. We teach athletes to think the game: identify decoys, scan windows, make pre-shot decisions, and the quiet rules elite players obey under pressure. (Proverbs 4:7; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Proverbs 27:17)
Content Ownership & Context
I won’t post entire streams. I edit and contextualize the material here with summaries, chapter markers, and key pull-quotes so families can catch the big ideas without losing nuance. It’s my work, so I can control the narrative; I’ll steward it faithfully and ADAPT as needed.
Participation, Polls, & Publishing
Member Chat & Polls: members gain chat and polling powers; we’ll publish poll tallies and select chat quotes (with usernames/handles when appropriate).
Spotlights: member-submitted drill clips and Situation Saturdays moments become teaching windows—we label them by age group and skill tier so anyone can try at home.

Onboarding:
The Quickest Path(s)
Covenant 3000 (membership): sign up and/or log in to the client/staff portal
Profile & waivers: complete your athlete + parent info, sign the waivers
Choose a plan: Trial, LITE, Slow Track, Fast Track, ALL-IN
Fund your account: load credits for events and Huddles
Reserve ADAPT Huddles: live or replay (Situation Saturdays, film rooms)
Curriculum: weekly modules (skill stacks, sport performance, journaling, film study)
Additional modules: NIL, branding, financial literacy, mentorship (from trusted friends/colleagues)
The goal is to build complete players and healthy households, not highlight-only hoopers. Some one-on-one moves you see online won’t show up in your games until discipline, conditioning, film habits, and diet mature. (Proverbs 12:1; Proverbs 10:4; 1 Timothy 4:8)
Memberships: What/Why Does It Cost?
We keep Trial and LITE entry affordable to let families onboard without pressure. During enrollment periods, you’ll often see three weekly live streams/replays; after the window, that settles to once or twice weekly, with a heavier focus on pre-recorded modules to build on the curriculum and member deep-dives. We do not want to rely on sponsors with whom we don’t align—the mission matters more than the hype. Special guests, travel, and staffing are real costs, and so are DRM protections we use to deter piracy and re-uploads. As I said on stream, we monitor access and replay environments to protect the work (IP/city-region/date-time/email logs for non-Twitch private streams).
We also invest in moderation, breakout rooms, and member safety. Some topics we wait until the 30-minute mark for deeper discussion in member space, especially in a digital age of censorship. Call it spiritual warfare awareness + community wisdom: our house stays respectful, edifying, and protected, even as we speak with boldness. (Ephesians 6:10–18; Proverbs 4:23; 1 Corinthians 14:40)
Note on tools: we actively evaluate enterprise-grade DRM and AI-powered content controls to keep private replays private and chats safe. The point isn’t fear; it’s stewardship—so our families can learn freely, and our content and community aren’t exploited.
Situation Saturdays
(ADAPT Huddles)
Expect ADAPT Huddles most Saturdays—sometimes in-person (me solo, with an adult client, or youth group), sometimes a film-study room, sometimes a special guest. During enrollment periods, at a minimum, you’ll get me in the gym or on film. When I’m traveling, I may coach in person and then jump into chats/breakouts for added value. I’m operating like a General Manager in my own house—rotating roles to deliver value at the right time.
Final Word (Identity & Excellence)
We serve the Most High with our bodies and our craft. The mission is excellence without arrogance—law and grace moving as one in Christ. Like the Avengers/DC heroes who don’t need to talk to prove it, we let the work speak. Now let's build.
